What's your intended quarry? 25 creed or x47 (twist for 131 blackjacks), 338 federal, or 7mm/08 would be my picks depending on what I was hunting

308, 7-08 or 284. Depends on what you want to do with it. A nice easy to carry stalking rifle for deer and elk is what id do. No more than a 24" barrel. Probably a sporter contour.

Possibly shake the dust off the old 284 win? 7mm-08 performance without having to fire form brass! A 22 inch sendero lite proof on it would make for a bad mother of a sheep rifle.
