What power/magnification do you use when sighting in?

Same here, saves on having to set up a spotting scope along with everything else.

I sight in with my scopes set on their highest power. I hunt with them set on their lowest power.

Yep, same here. Usually I run round 16x to 18x power. My Vortex 6-24x50 scopes are calibrated to run at 18x from the factory. So, a lot of time I run a scope at what the calibrated setting is.

I also use the calibration setting for the reticle, generally 20-22x on my LRH scopes.

I have a 3 - 15 x 42 SWFA scope on my 6.5 CM Ruger American Predator and I sight in at 200 yards on 15 x then check my zero at 7X, my most common hunting setting. I use 143 gr. Hornady ELD-X factory ammo for hunting - so far at least. It is as accurate as the ELD-M match ammo.

With that modestly priced, excellent scope the zero always stays the same, regardless of power.

I use the scope's max power for sighting in, I can't see any reason to do otherwise.
