i have an elk hunt this fall and i'm planning on using Barnes TTSX bullets. 2 reasons. the first is i can get them. the second is i can get them. OK the second reason is it's bear country and i like the thought of a solid copper if it's up close and personal with a Griz. i got them through Barnes and i can get more if i need them.

I have 8 nosler accubonds I think there 220g I will give you them if you want them. they have molly on them but you can tumble it off.

I will look at a few of the others you listed, but sinclair, midway, cabelas, lock stock and barrel.....you know the usuall sources dont have jack for 338 bullets except Scenars and I wont shoot at game with those. Sierra doest even have any in stock.

I agree with Dave, The ttsx may not have the best BC but are right in there. But they do shoot very well and no bullet made anywhere has better performance on game.

Dave, You are right about the grizz. Saw a big one up there today while limiting out on rainbows. I will probably cow hunt up there in December after the bears go in. Good luck on your hunt.
