what is the best distance learning course out there for gunsmithing?

I wanna learn some stuff for myself and possibly to do some work for others

I would start with a machine shop education, preferably at a local tech college. AGI has a lot of good coursework availble, some very good smiths did the instruction for most of their coursework. Otherwise the NRA has short summer-time gunsmithing courses throughout the U.S. I've gone to them and they are a great value.
