Shooting some Sako 50 gr. SP at 100 m., speed 960 - 980 ms., the funny thing happend, that my 10 shot groups was 15 mm. high, but 65 - 70 mm. wide ??

Tried to speed this fabrik loads, with some more powder, and the groups get better, but first around max. load and around 1050 ms.

Twistrate is 14"

Can annyone tell me, what is going on ??

Hello Martin

Well the rifle is a Tikka M55, and the scope is a Zeiss 3 - 12 x 56, conditions have been different - indoors shooting range and also outdoors, with no wind - guess thats what you were thinking about :)

Thanks for that...well that rules out the wind , but what about the scope mounts ...? I had a similar problem with my Sako 75 ..the `Optilock` mounts were causing the wandering zero....
the cause was a loose front ring securing screw under the front mount...the one that goes up from underneath ,...just a thought ?
