I just read something Mudrunner posted in another thread, something along the lines of you will definitely regret buying some equipment....so help those of who come after you. What RELOADING EQUIPMENT have you bought that you regret and why? I would rather this not get into another discussion about which widget is best, rather a list of products you wish you hadnt wasted your money on.

I'll kick it off, the Lee single stage press I have I do not like. I've not seen the older ones, but I understand this quick change bushing thing is a new feature and I dont like it because it just introduces one more area for error/stacked tolerances. I would rather the die screw directly into the press not a bushing.

Lol...I meant reloading equipment...but I know what you mean. I spent enough on my rem700 I bought 3 yrs ago trying to get it to shoot, I am well into low end custom territory.

I regret buying an optical chronograph. Should've saved up another $50 and got a magnetospeed.

I regret buying my lee turret press. The turret has play in it. I find that case sizing has been inconsistent with this turret press.

Oh I remember now, I bought some surplus 7mm mauser barrel once online. I should sent them back, rough. Maybe I should make some knives out of them if I ever make a forge.

Oops sorry, reloading equipment. Redding neck dies, I could never get them to work. Many people love them, but mine always were off concentricity.

Powder which wasn't temp stable, cheap electronic scale, pistol dies I never use, Winchester brass and a lower end caliper. Been reloading for years, still buying newer upgrades and I'm sure it will never end.
