hi all
i have been reading on hear lots of different people that have there rifles shooting on the lands,
now y is this,
do you start your loads by placing the bullet on the lands and just work up the powder,or what.

i am interested in finding out what different ways you lot find the best load.
do you start with powder first or seating depth,do you shoot at 100y 200y
do you use a bi pod
do you shoot of a bench
and so on.

thanks
Colin

Seating depth is the last thing to tweak.

I think most folks use the Audette Ladder and/or the OCW method to find a load.

Unless you are shooting Berger or another bullet that the mfg. suggests be loaded into the lands a 0.002 lead is a good place to start.
