What bolt size does the 300 norma mag take.

I have a donor rem 700 mag action from an old 7mmmag, will that work or does the 300 norma mag take a lapua size bolt? Please share your thoughts on this caliber if you have one? Thinking about making a carry rifle with a 25-26" barrel.

When you say bolt size?

Bolt face is the same as the Lapua, but it is designed to be built on a Rem bolt .700" Dia.

My first 338 Norma was on a Rem with a PTG tight fit bolt, the second one on a Pierce custom action also with a .700" bolt.

The others I know shooting 300 Normas use Rems.
