I have heard from a few places that the Rock Creek barrels are slightly tigher bored than other custom barrels and Kreiger offers a tighter bore in some of their calibers.
What would be the benifit of the tigher bore ? the only thing I could figure in my mind is that it causes more pressure with less powder.

Also , how does the Rock Creek barrels compair to say Hart , Lilja , Kreiger as far as price ans quality.

I had a tight bore Kreiger(.3065X.298)on my Palma rifle. I believe they are meant to shoot lighter weight bullets with less bearing surface, 155's in my case.
I doubt anybody could make a case saying that one shoots better than the other, especially with a Kreiger.
