Already have a 300 win mag RPR that can punch the same hole to 300yds with 200 grain eldx and H1000
But weighs almost 20lbs.
What is available with a 26 inch barrel with a Magazine that can let me load as long as the RPR with less weight?
Will add a Leupold Mark 5hd 7 x 35 TMR illum.
Have 400 Lapua 300 win Mag Brass 215m primers H1000 RL 26 4831 sc and 7828 sc and H4350
Bullets 200 and 212 eldx 180 and 200 grain nosler accubonds also 180 LRX
Want to shoot to 1 Mile targets and Hunt to 800 yds Deer and elk.
1 option in CA MPR ??? at 7lbs. But just not 1000 % confident in them. Some awesome some not.
Would like the MPR lower with a custom barrel and action with Long Mags at least a thought.

Savage 110 tactical uses 3.850 aics mags. 24" bbl though but the chamber is setup for loading long without my records in front of me im running the 208gr eldm around 3.65coal seating .020 off the lands.
That is what I am looking for.
What is the weight ??? and accuracy with bullets weights, powder bto length in your experience?

With a standard throated 300WM, all you're gonna get in a mag box that length is still gonna be around 3.650" with current VLD/Hybrid designs.
If you want to run them out that far, you will need the A191 reamer to bring the heel of the 230g Berger level with the bottom of the neck, which runs 3.700"ish.
IMHO, the WM runs best with the 210-230g bullets and the chamber throated to suit.

Cheers.
