What's everyone's favorite caliber for deer hunting?
My favorite is the 264 win.
I have three brothers their favorites are the 243win 6.5x55 and 308 win

Shotgun zone in the woods- 6.8 SPC
Close to medium range- 25-06
400+ - 300 Win
Although I just love my Seekins PH2 in 300 win so much I now use that for all rifle hunts.

My Rem. 700 Custom KS Mountain Rifle in 7mmRM. It shoots 150 grn CoreLokts where the cross hairs intersect. Unlike posted earlier, I've never had one I couldn't see from where it was standing when the shot was fired. Most DRT

Depends where I am hunting.

Shorter ranges and woods: 6.5x47 lapua
Midrange to longer ranges: 6.5 saum
Long ranges or high winds: 300 NMI

Though day to day it's the 6.5 saum for most any deer hunts

Last few years I've been using my 257 Roberts and 260 Rem more often.
But I have used 270 and 7mm-08 the most over the years.
