What’s your 600 and 800 yard group? Let’s see some

Thanks! was It gradual or rapid for you. I have heard both. Literally 75 or 105FPS increase between 75 to 100 rounds.
Like a light switch.
Did you reduce you load or had fun with the extra 170😊
well happy it's there. Actually dropping the powder a bit to see if the SD improve but 3shots were covered by a dime (Canadian dime if that matters 😝)

Wow, looking forward to the increase may have to drop my charge to 51gr or 50.5 let's see how this barrel behaves. Very nice shooting.

One of my favourite go to rifles is a 243 shooting 105gr Berger's behind 41gr 2209. 3040 FPS out of a 26" barrel which I got in Australia it's called TSC. Very Accurate so I'm happy. Could not get a Krieger at that stage in a 1-8. Action is left hand Sako M591 with a hunters edge Mac stock. Also wears a Swarovski X5i 3.5-18x50. Mainly shoot deer, goats with this rifle but if any vermin pop up they say hello to the Berger.

Any SAKO action is a great action. Love my Finnlight

While well beyond my skill range. My father in law had a 5 shot group of 5.5" group at 1000 yards using military issue rifle and open sights. Not sure about everyone else but hell I can't see anything 1000 yards out with open sights. then he was in his 20's and a Marine snipper for a living at the time.
Pretty amazing Chris.

For whatever reason I seem to find great deals on new rem 700s.. I'm currently having two of them fixed to my liking; gunsmith will work the bolt to act more like a Sako extractor. Best I can do until I find a money tree.
Nothing wrong with a Rem 700 action. My 65-284 is built on one. The other is my 243 as mentioned earlier

I use a lot of Norma brass. It likes to clog behind that bolt face spring. I use a dental tool to keep it clean
I use Lapua, no such issues. I also use Nosler custom for lighter 87 Berger VLDH sometimes in my 243 which if I'm not mistaken is made by Norma! I shoot turkeys, wallaby, rabbits, hares and peacocks with that load. Yes turkeys and peacocks are a pest where I live.
