Well I'm commited!

I thought about doing a single shooter but figured I would see how it shoots from the mag, others have said that there was little to gain. Figured I can always have it re-throated longer.

I'll ask again, how important is a 20moa rail out to 1000yds???

Look here at these responses. It makes sense to have one for long range shooting, as it allows your optics to use middle of the road settings, instead of being maxed out.

Ok, Very good. Well I guess I better start scrounging some more cash for a SHV and a rail.:D

White bull
I heard that on the hurry up part.
Ordered my A-3 from McMillan Jan 18th with
a 12-14 week lead time. Got the bottom metal
1# Jewell and NF NX sitting on the reloading bench
With 200 Berger hybrid 215s and 100 pieces
of new Norma brass.
I'm way ready for the stock to arrive. Worse
than waiting for opening day of elk season

Sent the action off to Pac-nor Friday, I think they told me 10 weeks.
270wsm, 8 twist 26" Sendero countour fluted no brake, set up to shoot from the mag.
Gonna be a long wait, but hopefully worth the wait:rolleyes:

Gary

Well I have put some rounds through this, the first of which were Federal Nickel plated Factory 150 Partitions. I was getting pretty good extractor marks from these, I stopped and pulled the bullets since they weren't grouping very well anyway.

Question is, is this normal for custom barrel??

I am still working on the break in process!
