M is Mass, C is Velocity (which is squared).

So, if we double Mass we double Energy.

If we double C, Velocity, we QUADRUPLE Energy as Velocity is squared.

Velocity of course dwindles over time/distance which of course Mass does not.

None of which takes any consideration of factors such as Sectional Density, Frontal Area, bullet composition and construction, etc...which transfer energy to the target.

Now, break out the pitchforks and torches! Let the carnage begin!
