Web Measurement Tracking?

Does anyone micrometer measure the web for every load to track rate of expansion? Been thinking it might be interesting exercise to maybe correlate to load data. I only measure right now if I start to see obvious signs. I do have a baseline for each load lot but I don't measure after each load.

What say you? Over thinking?

I used to. Back when I was working with wildcats and loading them on the edge of sanity. Don't anymore. Brass lasts.... stuff dies anyway.
