Still looking for a good scope for my 300wsm, cant afford a Nightforce need to buy one of those circles with a rock on top of it first. The plan for this rifle is for long range shooting at plates, paper, maybe deer and antelope, and maybe some long range matches.

Shooting will be done at 500-1000 yards on a regular bases from the bench, maybe off bi-pods, F-Class style, I live in the south west corner of Wyoming, basically high desert where I can shoot 1000 or further if I wanted to and the winds arent bad.
Anyone have this scope?
Think it might be over kill for my purpose?
It is going on a heavy bench rifle, but I am use to adjustable power scopes.
