I'm new to long range. I currently have the rifle listed in the title....With practice and improvement on my shooting....At what yardages should this rifle in factory form be accurate and capable to? What is the farthest you would attempt shots with this gun?

I know there is a lot more that plays into shooting long ranges...my capabilities, optics..etc....I'm just asking about the capabilities of this gun in factory form.

Most I have seen were easily capable of shooting animals at 1000 yards with minimal work and load development. It is one of the finest rifles on the market.

Thanks for the info!! That's what I was hoping to hear!. What minimal work might I need to have done to the gun? Also, do you shoot one of those? Do you have any load suggestions for me to try? I was thinking about using the Berger 210 VLD.
