Does anybody have or have knowledge of the Weatherby Accumark in 257 weatherby magnum?
Can you give seperate answers on your thoughts on the gun AND evaluate the cartridge please?
By the way it's for moderate range varmint/predator shooting. Thanks Mike

I have two of them. Both the rifle and cartridge are superb. 100 grain bullets at 3650 to 3700 fps into < .7" and 75 grain bullets go 3950-4000 fps < .4". It really likes 75 grain V-Max's

Hired Gun,
Thanks for the info on the Accumark.
A friend had one out at a praire dog shoot in New Mexico it was a 270 weatherby magnum loaded w/some 90gr hp's.
Man did it make a showing, front and rear of a big pd where 45'apart.
A 75gr v-max at 3950-4000fps is scorching for sure. Thanks for the info Mike

I liked the two 257 Accumarks so much I just changed out my Deluxe for an Accumark in 300Wby. God willing, I think it would be cool to have an Accumark in every Weatherby caliber.
