Waterproofing duck canvas

I got a new bedroll bag that is black duck canvas. It is the same material as Carhartt jackets. I would like to waterproof it the best I can, just for when it is in the back of the truck. I've been doing some research on wax, 303 treatment, and oil cloth; boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. I don't care how it looks, I just would like it to work decent and last if possible. Anybody have any suggestions?

buck, Kiwi Camp Dry from Wally World worked OK for my leaky pop up canopy. Stay upwind when you spray it.

Cabelas sells a waterproofing for canvas tents/canvas that works great. You put it in a weed sprayer and apply.

Sno seal and a hair dryer will work very well.

Sno Seal is intended for footwear but it will work well for you.

Apply an even coat of the stuff, warm it to the melting point to let it soak in, you are done.

No nasty smell, and once applied will stay soft and last for a very long time.
