Hello from eastern Washington. I started working on a long range rifle project this winter. I already have mid-range handled but decided it might be nice to work out beyond 1000 yds.

Several google qweries and links sent me here and it has been interesting.

I am a long time competitive pistol and high power shooter with an extensive military background. I have decided to start hunting again after a fifteen year lay off for work, wars and competition shooting.

I lived in Ellensburg, Naches, Yakima, and Selah before moving to North Dakota in 2004. Love the mule deer hunting in the badlands (mostly with a bow). I am just beginning the learning process to develop my long range hunting skills. I have been lurking on this site for about 3 months now. Lots of great info to be found here.
