Warren rings

Has anyone had trouble with Warren rings ?
I have them on my Sightron 8x32x56mm siii
And I am having trouble turning the parallax adjustment it will turn but it is stiff I called Sightron
They claim that it is because the Warren rings screws go across the top instead of up and down
I removed the scope to send it back it is a little easier but not a lot and there are no marks where the rings were the torque was 15-16 in lbs ?

Are you referring to Warne rings?

I've had Warne rings, and never had those issues.

I really like Warne rings, and have several rifles with them, zero issues thus far.

Warne rings can and do some weird stuff to some scopes...sightrons,vortex and IORs in my personal experience.
Keep them as far away from the bells and adjusters (in the middle) and use a torque wrench!
Had to redo the way I mounted the new Sightron S tac 3-16 on the new 6.5 Grendel upper. The windage was binding and not moveing correctly. After the move it works better but once zeroed I will use the reticle and not the adjuster!
