Want Pictures of Expanded Bullets

Looking for pics of expanded bullets that have been recovered in either game or a testing media such as newspapers, water jugs, etc...

Please tell, starting bullet weight, recovered weight, caliber, cartridge fired from, approx impact velocity, what it was recovered from, design (vld, TTSX, A-Max, Partition, etc...), if recovered from game how performance was and what it encountered (shoulder bone, rib, etc...).

Not looking to debate what bullet is better just want to see some pics.

How bullets perform and do their job has alwaysed intrigued me.

Duuuuuude! my camera just died and I have one bullet on my reloading bench that is the only one I've ever recovered. It is awesome! It started life as a 150grain Remington Corelokt. I shot a 180lbs whitetail buck at 50 yards with it. The deer was quartering towards me. The shot just missed inside the front right shoulder. It passed all the way threw the deer and was recovered in the left hind quarter. The bullet is a perfect mushroom and weighs 96.7grains. Deer managed to go a few hundred yards.

Cool! to bad your camera stop kicking . i wonder how big green keeps their bullets core and jacket together? Do they bond them? Same design as Hornady interlock?

I have three or four in my truck console. I'll try to get ome pics in the am. All 140gr 7mm from a 7-08. A couple sst and a nosler bllistic tip. All deer were drt.

Here's a 140 Accubond from my 270 WSM I dug out of the ground after it went through a mule deer buck at 300 some yards, took out on side lung then dorsal aorta then second lung. A blind man could have tracked him, he sprung a little leak

This one is a 140 Berger from a 270 WSM launched at 3300fps and taken from the far side of a cow elk at 325 yards. It went through the shoulder just missing the bone, through a rib then blew a hole through her heart you could put your hand through, messing up the lungs then breaking a rib and through the muscle on the of shoulder and catching under the hide. She was feel on her nose at the shot and didn't move. There is more bullet there than it looks, it curled up around the base of the bullet.

Nice pics bigngreen. BTW i will probably shoot those CE bullets into newspapers next week. We are shooting this weekend so i will be able to figure out how much powder i need to use. I sent CE an email and they said the 252 grain D60 have a BC of .650 and have been replaced by the D59 i believe he said.

8. bottom left + 2-- 375 300 tsx-- recovered from frozen railroad tie shot at 50 yards- recovered weight- 261 gr.- shot from 375 h@h

9. bottom left + 3-- 375 300 tsx-- recovered from frozen railroad tie shot at 50 yards- recovered weight- 281 gr.- shot from 375 h@h

bullets 8, 9, and 10 were all recovered at same time with help from my 300 rum and some 180 silvertips- the lead transfer is still visible on the tsx's

Nice pics lefty and trebark. Youth whitetail deer season opens on friday so im going to go out see and if a can bust some bones with my 7mm-08 and 145 grain LRX. If i recover the bullet i will post a pic of it on here. Tomorrow after school i will post a pic of a 180 grain scirroco from a 300 RUM recovered from and elk at 383 yards.

last pic is 280 grain LRX's recovered in wetnewspaper and 162 grain hornady A-Max recovered from water jugs, left to right: 1500 fps, 1600 fps, 2650 fps, and 1200 fps.

This is a 300 grain SMK shot from a .338 Edge. I shot a Spike elk that was facing me from 900 yards. It went through the front of the chest and I found it under the hide of a rear quarter.
