Steve and Brian have added me to their Team at Hammer Bullets for increased social media engagement. For our first promotion we are raffling off a box of ammo to a lucky winner next Wednesday, October 27 at 9pm CST. You can register for the raffle by subscribing and commenting on any of our social media platforms (Click to link to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest, MeWe). There will be one submission for EVERY social media account you subscribe and comment too. Since some people have already subscribed, I don't want to add people without their permission, so it is important to comment if you are currently subscribed.

For our Long Range Hunting community who do not use social media but would like to participate in the raffle share below your favorite hunting or shooting experience including weapon, caliber, and distance. I will add your name twice to the raffle if you include a picture. One entry per story you share. YES, you can subscribe and comment to social media AND share your favorite hunting and shooting experience's for multiple opportunities to win.

Good luck!

I don't do Social media.

Daughter took this buck with 6.5x284 built by DCGS at 327 yards with a129 gr Absolute Hammer. I was watching though my binos when she shot. Buck dropped and a geyser of blood shot up and sprayed all around. Was gory but the bullet did its job. I have stretched it out past 656 yards on deer with excellent accuracy and results.

Which Bullet ?

No need to include me in the contest but I wanted to share mine. Buck at 70 yards with the 124 HH doing approximately 3200 fps out of a 6.5 PRC. Frontal chest shot killed the buck so dead he tipped onto the last tree he ever rubbed.

Also sent out an infomercial to my buddies from the stand after I sent the picture of my buck.

178 grain absolute hammer out of a Cooper 300 Win Mag, Muzzle velocity in the 3250 range, this buck was at 120-ish yards, point of impact right shoulder, exit just in front of left hip, buck traveled maybe 30 yards. Despite breaking a shoulder and going through the long way, very little meat damage. Consistent sub 1/2 moa groups. Happy customer.

I don't and won't do social media anymore either.

They're not Hammer bullets but I think that was the point of trying them. Been wanting to try them for some time and can't count how many times I've been to their website but can't decide which bullet for which rifle and don't have a fast enough twist for the heavier bullets I want to shoot…. Yet. Next barrel will probably be a very fast twist though in a 7mm Mag. May do the 140-143grn for my 280AI with a 9 twist.

One of our more fun hunts, I glassed up some Javelina for a buddy on our rifle hunt and got him setup with my 28 Nosler with an Atlas bipod. Laid out the shooting pad & Protektor rear leather heavy bag for a very solid rest. He was up since I'd already killed mine the day before with my Suppressed 6mm Creed at around 680 yards shooting Berger 105's at 3,187fps.

My buddies Javelina. Distance was 1,010 yards with a slight breeze right to left. Rifle is my full custom 28 Nosler shooting Berger 195's shooting a mild but very accurate load at 2980 fps. We watched them feed around for approx. 30 minutes trying to get one to hold still for the shot. Finally he said he was ready, told me the far left Javi, and I told him to send it once the phone scope was on him through my Swarovski 15x56's. He squeezed off the cold bore shot and smoked him just behind the shoulder. Took him a couple hours to hike up there, load him on his backpack and get back to the vehicle for some pics and cleaning.
