Kicking this one out the door next week...

Customer wanted a "utilitarian" piece of Black Walnut, so I picked a blank off the pile and this is what I came up with.

Weather has been a bit harsh here lately, no good outdoor pictures, but you get the idea.

Oh yeah, that's a real utilitarian rifle.

Can I get a "utilitarian" stock like that?

Mr. Russo, I always look foreward to seeing photos of your excellent craftsmanship. Nothing has more natural beauty than fine grained wood. Keep them coming.
 
Thanks for the compliments gents. I truly do put my heart and soul into them, and build each on as if it were going into my personal collection.
