The short answer is this scale setup did not improve my ES over what I was using before. This scale is much faster than my RCBS chargemaster lite. Jeff Broz of LRO had mentioned that he did not find this scale an improvement over what he had. I try to keep my reloading simple and I usually average about a 22 ES when I load. For the $700 more for this setup it was not worth it for me. If you load 1000s of rounds a year this would be a great scale. I don't. Sorry for the delay in responding to your question.

Just because it didn't improve his ES doesn't mean it wouldn't help yours. I have an SD of 4 and ES of 12 with mine. I also got close to that with my chargemaster link, but I like fancy gadgets. Many factors play into getting low numbers.

So true. Many things are in play getting a low ES. For me, in my situation, it was not worth the money. It is a fine piece of equipment for sure. I was just stating what my reason for selling was.
