VV 570 in the 28 Nosler

Would a guy use a little less for a 30 nosler as I have not been able to find any data for it with 210 or 215 Berger's
I'd probably compare levels of it with levels of another powder at a similar weight. I know I conjured up some data for 8133 and 195s in my 28 Nosler by just doing some comparisons. I came up with about 74-76gr for a starting load. Ended up calling Berger and they gave me a number around 72gr, I knew I would be safely higher than a start load with my 74gr.

You bet yah.. It is the best for my 28 Nos.. I have used Retumbo, R-33, H-1000,, 82 grains of N-570 with a 195 will shoot one hole at a 100 .. 1.5 inch group at 600.. Great stuff but it does burn barrels a little faster than other powders.. I get the best ES and SD with N-570.. I have started shooting it in my 300 win too and it really tightened things up.
I agree with your post with 28 Nos. i am using H-1000 in my 300 win, ADG brass. How much N-570 you using in your 300 win? What type of brass do you use? Thks

I'm having a 28 nosler made for next year. Been buying components for the last couple months. Everyone believes in this powder so much I bought 10 pounds back in December for. Maybe enough to shoot out a barrel and go again.
It will give you 853 rounds....might still have some barrel life!

Anyone running VV 570 with 180s or 195s in the 28?
Running 79.5 gr N570 out of a 26" carbonsix 1-8. Pushing a HBN coated 180 eld-m at 3100 with ES <15 fps in Nosler brass. I could definitely push it harder but it's really accurate there and hopefully I'll get a little better barrel life. As a few others mention it was better than Retumbo and H1000 in velocity and ES in my rifle.

For the 30 Nosler, Berger sent me load data for N570 and the 215.

Minimum load - 82.5
Maximum load - 86.7

Work up from the minimum load. I have two 30 Noslers and they are very different. First one is a semi custom with a Sami spec reamer, and pressure out at 79 grains of Retumbo, which is 2 grains below minimum charge, and shoots the 215s at 2980. The other is a RBros rifle with a very long freebore. I'm shootings the 215s at 3100 with 86.8 grains of N570.
