vortex PST 6x24-50

I have one on my 308 . Really like the scope , I picked up a new 300 ultra sendero guy had A 190 VDL load pushing 3145 fps 26 " barrel , have a 20 MOA rail on it , my question is will the vortex with 65 Moa + 20 moa rail get me out to 1000yards. Or will I have to vortex Razor Hd or night force ? Thanks

I have a fairly similar load in a 300wm. Same 190vld at 2950fps looked like I would be just fine with the PST and a 20MOA rail. I don't think you'll have a problem. Honestly just a quick run of the numbers looks like you might be able to stretch that out to around 1300-1400yrds.

For sure it will get you to a grand with ease. I have a couple PST Vipers 6-24x50. Example, (Accuracy load) my 300 WSM 26"Barrel pushing a 180 Nosler BT at just 2655 fps is 31.5 MOA at a grand.

It will get you way past 1000 yards easy.

not only will it get you to 1000 but you have some holdover in the reticle if you have to use it

I would say that you could dial to a mile with that setup, based on my current setup with the 210's and a 20 MOA Rail.

i have the same scope with the moa reticle, but i have a 25moa base i am hoping that it will get me out way out there with a 6-284 that i will be putting together here soon. i just got the scope friday and it looks great, cant wait to use it.
