I have a couple of the vortex viper gen 1 scopes that work really well for me. They do seem quite susceptible to having the turrets turn inadvertently when going in and out of a case or from the truck while out jumping different stands. I have a nightforce scope that the turrets are a bit stiffer on and I haven’t really noticed this ever happening. What I’m wondering is if the vortex viper gen 2 scopes are less susceptible to this happening with them being a bit smaller profile? Are they any stiffer than the gen 1? Yes, I understand and always do check my turrets before shooting. Just looking for feedback on whether the turret change has alleviated this potential or made it less likely. Thanks!
