We competed in the event and it was a blast. We shot like crap but had a fairly fast time (7th) and finished 20th overall. When we got to the top of the "widow maker," a thunderstorm moved in and we had 20-25 mph winds---not fun. It was a little longer this year in distance than last year but its not all that difficult to do. If you can hike the mountains, you can do this event which I highly encourage.
