The expected high tomorrow is -5°F, so I figure I will make a soup to warm the body and soul and bring it to work to share with my co-workers.

Boiled equal parts of all the dried chilies above and blend with cilantro stalks.

Sauteed venison and country pork sausage with fresh garlic and onion are poured into the crock pot. Added chili sauce, Hatch green chili, a can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chili, two cans of yellow hominy, cumin powder, and salt to taste. I will top it with fresh cilantro, Mexican cheese, sour creme, and other condiments I decide on tomorrow.
