Thanks for confirmation, thought I was going nuts, or my ignorance was showing. Here is my reasoning behind it. Newton's theory of conservation of energy. ( Do not know the real know...you know body in motion stays in motion) When the pressures exerted against the bullet equalize they should lose energy at the same rate. But that is just guessing.
