Does anyone have any hunting knowledge of hunting around moab utah? How much is a n out of state license. Deer numbers and what is a decent buck in the area score?

You can buy points until the 18th, I think. As a non resident you're looking at a few years before a guaranteed tag

The LaSal mountains are right out of Moab. Never hunted it but I've seen lots of deer. Would be a fun hunt I think.

UT is one of those states that makes you buy a NR small game license before you can purchase points.
That license is good for 365 days, so next year make sure to buy your pts before this year's purchase date, allows you to get by with 1 license every 2 years.
