Using small rifle primers or larger rifle magnum primers in 308 win

We make all our hunting loads with Magnum prinmers. Up to 65 grains CCI 250 over that Fed 215. The magnum primers work much better at -45. We work up the loads from the start with Mag primers. Have not used a benchrest or standard primer in anything but straight target rifles for over 50 years.

My 308 is 47 grains of IMR 4895, WW brass, Barnes 130 TTSX and a CCI 250 for 3150 FPS. Never lost a case to pocket expansion, some have a dozen firings on them.
