So with how hard stuff is too find, bullets ,primers ect, I decided too fireform 100 new star line cases for my 6.5 creed with some random stuff I had sitting on the shelf. There was a box of hornady 140 grain bthp match bullets and the last 100 fed 210 primers from a brick. I charged the cases with 41.0 grains of h4350 and set oal at 2.800. The pet load I was forming cases for doesn't shoot much better than this.

Sometimes you just get lucky!

Man I had the same thing in my Sherman.
Bought just what I could 180gr sst loaded a grain less than max for parent case random seating depth.
200 yards group made me second fuse even trying for a faster and better load.

Funny, just last weekend was running in my new 300WM with left over boxes of bullets, mostly 150g Ballistic Tips and 180g Hornady Interbonds I was given.
The 150's all went into a ragged hole after shoot 1 clean and so on for 13 shots.
The 180's went into 3/4" group and I was just firing them to foul the barrel so I could shoot a group with my pet load from another 300 I have…..didn't work out how I wanted, but this new barrel shoots!

Cheers.

I picked up some repurposed factory seconds (look like old Speer) for my 338 Sherman.
