Used LRF choices and recommendations

I have previously only needed rangefinders for shooting from fixed positions and use the ANTIQUE Military Surplus Barr & Stroud optical units which have done very well for me at all distances.

I am retired now and have a fine selection of rifles but cannot spring for a good LRF like I could while making money! I need a unit good to 1500 yards so I can start shooting tactical matches. I know the tactical guys have been through many units and continue to get the GOOD stuff.

Which one would be a good used value that would serve my needs? Leica 1200? Expected costs used?

Will there be military surplus units in LRFS available?

Used Leica 1600's (not 1600B's) can be found for $550ish....should fit your needs nicely
