I'm having my Rem 700 .308 trued and rebarreled back into .308. The old brass is Lapua and loaded 5 times. Is it prudent to full length size the brass and start using it in the new chamber or should I start with new brass?

Full length size and go for it. I have seen where a tighter chamber near the case head will not chamber brass previously fired in another, looser rifle. When i have seen this it cant be sized out (too thick in the webbing). I think this is fairly rare, but if you struggle to chamber in your new rig this is probably why.
