Hello everyone, I will be moving up to Salem NY within the next 8 days and would like to go ahead and start looking for places to go hunting. Wondering if anyone knows any places to go, or could use a new hunting buddy lol

Had a friend that lived in Massena, NY. and he had some good luck around there and Brasher Falls State Forest area. He bagged a real nice 8 point a few years ago and right after he shot a bigger racked buck stepped out, ain't that the way it goes sometimes.

Had things along the same line happen to me as well. Would really like to find a nice place to hunt up around the Salem area. Open to driving up to an hour to an hour and a half for some good hunting.
