Morning all,

I though you'd like to see the newest addition to my stable. This is a Stiller/Obermeyer/Manners/Jewell short action DBM setup in 7mmSAUM I finally got around to finishing. I sent it out to LRI in Sturgis, SD for his Ultac 2.4 adj. cheek hardware & in-house paint werkz. The hardware is made from titanium & aluminum & weighs in at a whopping 2.4oz.... not bad!

This gal is a near identical twin (consecutive serial #'s) to my 6.5WSM so I thought it would be pertinent to keep the camo scheme the same.

I love the finished product, let me know what you think.

Here's a quick shot of the WSM for comparison (just in case you forgot :D)

Chad is a good dude. I appreciate a guy that tells it like it is; it may not be what you want to hear but it'll be the truth.

A buddy & I have spent enought $$$ there to put his kid thru college.... I already have another build planned.

The colors in the Photoshop renderings are brighter than they actually are in real life (as seen in the first pic). I intend to pose the "Twins" outside for some shots in natural light.

Did LrI do your 6.5wsm also? I was thinking about having him build me one in a lefty as well. Those are both really sweet looking

Yes, Chad did my 6.5 as well. There are actually only two differences between the SAUM & WSM (besides caliber & color). The SAUM is a repeater & the WSM is a single slinger & the WSM has helical barrel fluting & the SAUM is straight fluted.

I'm pretty stoked to shoot this pig. :D

Looking good! Be interested in seeing how it shoots! Bruce

Thank Bruce, i'm pretty stoked too. I have yet to pick up a scope for it yet as i'm torn. I would like to put a USO on this to match my WSM but that might be out of my price range for a couple months. I am also seriously considering the 5-20 SHV but the 10moa turrets are a turn off.... what to do, what to do.

Beautiful! I'd buy one just like it, but I can't pick my nose left handed without poking an eye out.

When you say hardware 2.4 oz. what does that include?

What's the total weight?

What are the delivery times like?

Again, very nicely done.

Thank you for the compliment!

Lol, I understand completely. Watching me do something with my right hand is like a blooper reel from the special olympics....

2.4oz is the hardware for the adjustable cheek piece.

Weight: When you ask total weight, are you referencing the rifle itself? If so, she's got to be in the 14lb range.

Delivery time: With the Group buy still rolling, a barreled action is turning around in 2-4wks at a very reasonable price.

Resurrecting this thread for an update, I finally got enough shekels saved up to put some glass on this rig: Razor HD EBR-2B reticle, Vortex rings.... Not too bad
