As the title says this is a 15# unopened keg of Hercules production, lot #546, Bullseye powder. This was purchased from a friend who was gunsmith & avid shooter & reloader. It was stored in his powder keg. The metal seal tab has not been tampered with or broken. $325 for the powder ONLY the catch is I get the keg. If you want the keg as well it's $425. It is quite unique to find one of these kegs unopened. I've seen many a powder kegs catch $100+ empty in antique stores or at auctions. I'm open for trades, just not looking for anything specific. This is for pick up exchange only, I live in northern Illinois. Thanks gentlemen.. Kevin

Yea, $20 per pound for 60 year old powder seams reasonable to me. ;) Especially since it's BYOC.

A new 2 1/2 gallon pail with lid from menards or other big box store would suffice. The keg measures up close, but smaller than my 2 gal water cooler.

I'm not sure about the smell, it's still sealed. In defense of the powder being 60yrs old. If it's sealed & stored correctly there's no issue. I still have some old stock discontinued powders of h570, hv-2 & 5010 that's that old or older & its been opened for years. I've even reloaded with in the last few years with no issues. I
