Unertl help????

I bought a custom Rem. Model 7 (3 hole receiver) with a unertl mount? Never seen one like this and was hoping for some help on what it is or is it worth anything??? Any help would be much appreciated!

As far as I know, Unertl never made scope mounts like this.
Your pics are so dark, hard to make out anything.
No idea what the silver shims (?) on the side and bottom are.
Rings are Redfield as they made the ones that fasten from the bottom.
Given that, base is probably Leupold or Redfield.
The only mounts Unertl made were bases and rings for target scopes like this.

Rings and base is made together with lugs. Took some better pics.

Unertl scope mount for early Remington M40 sniper rifle

What it looks like the gunsmith did was cut back screw hole off the base ?? The top of the receiver has been machined for the lugs. Guy who built the gun was an armor in the corps built the m40's for years.
