umm need advice on neck tension

Interesting,
How bout crimping just to have the same neck tension
Crimping needs to be done if the action will jostle the round a bit.. say for a autoloader or big bore revolver. I don't crimp any of my ammo anymore for my bolt rifles ( I hardly ever did) because the little bit of length variance you have from case to case plays havoc with getting your bullet pull uniform. I don't even have creep in my 375h@h (8# rifle scoped) without crimping using standard rcbs fl dies; I think the other rifles can get along rather well uncrimped. My AR ( 5.56 nato) does at times move the pills a few thou. so I'll crimp them mildly if there's a crimp groove on the pill. Same with the 44; The bullet pull has to be up there for ignition so it gets a crimp.
