Model 28 300 Win Mag.
Serial number is 92-023
It weighs 6.3 pounds or 6lb 5oz. on my ultra ship digital scale.
It has a 13.5 LOP from center of trigger to end of but pad.
The barrel measures .565 at the end.22 incher, No.1
Leupold VARI X III 2.5-8.

I bought it in 2006 and have never carried it.
Loaned it to my gunsmith and he killed a deer with it with factory ammo.
I've shot it like two times with factory ammo.

It kicks less or feels like it kicks less than my 12.5 pound 300 Win mag.
Its a sharp recoil no dought about it.
But some how with this stock you just dont seem to mind it.

The guy that had it carried it alot.
Its got plenty of ....wear... on the outside.
The blueing is wore.
Looks kinda beat.
Im being honest.
It needs a paint job.
The paint on the ULA has like a white primer or undercoat on it.Every place theres a ding theres a white spot. The ULA picked up a few more during the break in I had this summer.
The pictures above are from before the breakin.
Its got a couple of extra dings now.

Function.
Feeding.
Trigger.
Are excellant.
Barrel is a CM ..we scoped it and you would have a hard time telling that its actually been fired. It looks bran new inside.

Not interested in trades
A new model 28 is 3900 just for the gun.
I want 2250.00 + shipping.
For this kind of money you could have it rebarreled and repainted... still have less than new.

I can't believe nobody has jumped on this. This rifle is priced at 1990 prices when I bought mine and it sure as hell doesn't look as good as this one. Nice rifle very good deal.

This gun really interests me. Are you currently in the trade market? Also where in PA are you? I am in PA too. I would love to see and and try to work something out.
