My friend took his new 7-300wsm out for the first time today. He was shooting the 180 Berger. Well he decided to try to get two deer with one shot. Finally 2 does got lined up and he took the shot. Both does never took a step. I couldn't get any pics of the deer but the exit hole in the first deer was about 3 inches, the second was about the same. He just picked up the rifle on Tuesday. Here are the specs and a pic of the gun

Rem 700 action blueprinted, Sako extracter installed in the bolt
Jewel trigger
Brux barrel 1in 8 twist interupted flutes finished at 28 inches
SSG muzzle break
20moa rail TPS rings
5.5x22x56 NF with NPR2
K&G Gun Kote in flat black
H&S stock bedded

This should be a good example of what the Berger bullets can do on game.

Can't say for sure. I was not there when he shot, just saw the results. He said right beside each other so a guess would be a couple of feet. Sounds like fun ever how far they were. Dan
