I managed to get in two hunts this week where I do hog and predator control. The first one was Wednesday night. I didn't expect a daylight hog, though I did find fresh tracks, but I didn't know how fresh. Managed to have a mutual OMG moment with the hog but he later came back looking for me.

FYI, the 2nd half of this clip involves a necropsy of the carcass to learn more about the terminal ballistics. This hog was due to go to a friend of mine, but it stunk pretty badly.

I came back on Saturday evening and was surprised to find hogs coming again during daylight for the previous couple of days. In the 20 minutes between checking the game camera, getting in the stand, and notifying the the landowner, a sow and piglets appeared. As she was in good shape, no necropsy on this sow and she made it to my friend for consumption.

Super cool, makes me want another ar platform but here in new york they are frowned upon by our wonderful governor. Ranch rifle is the best i can do.
