The rainbows have very red meat from eating crustaceans.

Very NICE fish!!! Where are you located? I live in Idaho Falls, ID about 7 miles from the confluence of the South Fork & North Fork of the Snake River. Some of the best trout fishing in the world.

That is my brother in the pic. That is the first time he fished that pond. I have fished it years ago. I am in Seattle right now and he is 900 miles East of me. I will be back there soon. I go for hunting ruminants, rodents and fishing. I would be fishing that hole myself if my grand kid had not been born in Seattle.

Looks alot like some places I fished East of the mtns. here in MT.Caught big rainbows on my fly pole there.
