Tripod is brand new, just received last week. The lowest price I see for this tripod online is ~$250, so I think my price is pretty fair. I bought a combo deal with pan head, but only wanted the pan head.
The ST series are carbon fiber with twist locks for the leg sections. This is a more stable tripod than something like the SLIK 624 or 634, yet doesn't weigh that much more. Larger carbon tubes than those two SLIKS. Waterproof and has built-in spikes at each foot.
