Trijicon Accupower 5-50x56 MOA

I just bought the Trijicon Accupower 5-50x56 MOA for $1879.00 . But right now they have the MRAD Dot for $1599.00. I'm wondering why the MRAD Dot is a $280 bucks cheaper ? Anyhow I shoot in yards not meters . I already have a couple Mil/Mil scopes,don't need another. I wonder how this glass will compare to my Zeiss V6 5-30x50mm ?
