Toughest Long Range Hunting Optic?

What is the toughest long range rifle scope on the market? The one that can get the crap kicked out of it and never lose zero? The one that you would trust the hunt of a lifetime to? I know nothing is perfect, but if your life depended on this scope holding zero, what would it be?

I don't even own a Nightforce right now (I have though). And if if my life depended on it, I would go Nightforce as well. I would probably lean towards the 4-16 ATACR.

I don't own a nightforce either, but that was my first thought. I am in the market for a scope for my do all 6.5 prc, and want to buy once cry once on this deal. Wondering if there is anything else I should be considering...

Nightforce!
Atacr 4-16, locking turret, capped windage. Drop it in a spuhr mount, I don't think you could get a more rugged/repeatable/reliable combo.

I've got 2, saving up for the 3rd!

Another vote for nightforce, absolutely cannot find a fault in my ATACR 5-25x56. If I could afford more I would own more than one but I think this scope is perfect for everything.

My first thought is as many of you have already said is Nightforce. Maybe this isn't what this topic was started for. But how much does a good mounting system and being done right have to do with it?

Just about spit pop all over my computer, I've owned a few of the SWFA and while I like the little buggers but "toughest long range optic" would not have popped into my mind!!

Theres nothing to a fixed 10x. Its hard to break what you dont have. I'm not Special Forces and I'm married so I cant jump on the nightforce bandwagon.

What happened to yours? I would like feedback so I am not pushing crap info. My experience, sample size being exactly 7 (lol), I have had zero issues.
