Can anyone tell me the torque specs for a barreled Remington action to stock? Is there a differnce between the front and back action screws?

I'm shooting a stock Sendero if it makes any difference. Thanks for any help!

Don't quote me on this but I believe it is "snug" for the rear and "firm" on the front. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just kidding.

Again I'm not sure but I think I remember seeing it as 40 or 42 Inch/pounds for both.

Don't go cranking this in untill we get some other input.

Remington told me 65 inch lb. for the Sendero, front and back. Work them down gradually alternating rear screw front screw. Last one tightened is the front screw. Work in 10 lb. increments after it is snug.

Hope this helps
