Joe Kidd with Robert Duval & Clint Eastwood was a good one. Eastwood does some long range rifle work with a bolt action in that one. He dials his scope and takes out a bad guy out upon a ridge. I've always wondered what kind of bolt action he was using.
I watching anything that Robert ducal plays in. Open range was very realistic

Thanks

Didn't wade thru all of the pages, but I think a frequently over-looked Western is "Paint Your Wagon." It's a funny story with a bit of an odd twist, but where else are you going to see stars like Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood singing?

I have couple new ones
Lonesome Dove
The Cowboys
Dances with Wolves
Blazing Saddles
Two Miles for Sister Sarah
Big Jake
Last of the Dogmen
